Reverend Jacquelyn Hollingsworth, Pastor
Rev. Hollingsworth was appointed pastor of Christ Chapel AME Church, Sterling, VA on April 12, 2008 by Bishop Adam J. Richardson at the 58th Session of the Washington Annual Conference.
Rev. Hollingsworth worked as associate minister at Ward Memorial AME church in NE Washington, DC under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Conrad Pridgen. During this time, she implemented the Prison Ministry; coordinating training within the DC Jail and with Court Services and Offenders Supervision Agency (CSOSA) for the Ward members.
Rev. Hollingsworth also served as assistant to the pastor at Christ Chapel AME from 2000-2007 under the pastorates of Rev. Courtney Canty, Rev. Frances Sparkman and Rev. Isaiah Harvin. During this time she provided services to the Shenandoah Rehabilitation Center in Manassas VA, the Good News Jail Ministry at the Fairfax Adult Detention center, where she counseled female inmates.
Rev. Hollingsworth's earlier work in ministry includes serving with Western Fairfax Ministry and with Fairfax County Victim Assistance Network (VAN) as a Crisis Hotline Counselor.
Rev. Hollingsworth has a BS Degree in Management from Regent University and a Master of Divinity from Evangel Theological Seminary. Currently, Rev. Hollingsworth is the President of a interdenominational women's group called the Christian Women of Deliverance Ministry in Sterling, VA.
Rev. Hollingsworth gives all Honor and Glory to God for what He has done in her life and as He continue to confirm and direct her call.
